Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council
As part of our Company's commitment toward building an inclusive workplace, the inaugural meeting of Sobeys' new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council took place on May 23, 2019 in Stellarton, N.S. With a mandate to provide strategic input and recommendations, and to champion ongoing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, the Council put their passion for inclusion to work. Led by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair, Vivek Sood, members discussed the past and present state of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Sobeys in order to begin the planning for an expanded Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy.
